Some of the limiting factors in south Africa are aquatic life, with include fish, coral, and sharks. Deterioration of source water resources. The coal mining in south Africa pollutes the water. If we don’t have clean water, we wouldn’t have fish for food and water to support the carrying capacity of the ecosystem.  The video shows the posted shows the pollution in the air is harming the ecosystem. After a coal mine is finished with, the water left behind is acidic and runs into the water of a flowing ecosystem. There have been more than 6,000 mines abandoned in south Africa with acidic damages from acidic water.
