action plan
ByMy Ecological issue is coal mining in south Africa. When people coal mine in south Africa they pollute the air. Dust is everywhere in the air because of coal mining. in a video I watched a women was saying that when she touched her face you could see the black dust on her hands. If you can see it on your hands from touching your face imagine breathing it in. she also talks about how her children had gotten asthma from not being to breath properly. Coal mining is really hurting people in south Africa and people aren’t doing anything about it. my team of workers will actually do something about coal mining in south Africa. My team consists of Richard Spoor, Tshilidzi Matharka and his group (National Union of Mineworkers), and Me.
Richard Spoor will defend us against Eskom. Eskom is a south African electricity public utility. Eskom uses coal is produce electricity. I predict that Richard Spoor will be defending us for about 6 months. This process will be hard but i am confident that we will win the battle against Eskom
Tshilidzi Matharka and the National Union of Mineworkers will be holding protest to aware people that coal mining needs to stop. Unlike what Richard Spoor is doing this wont take as long I think it will only take about 2 months of protest. Tshilidzi will aim the protests to young adults. Tshilidzi’s protests will be about all the bad affects coal mining has on the community’s around the coal mines and how switching to wind farms are a better source of energy.

I will be contacting formal members of any coal mining companies and asking if they have anything to speak up about. My team will fight to stop mining coal in south Africa and make a difference to the upcoming future.
