Robby Mokgalaka
ByI have chosen Robby Mokgalaka to help us about our coal mining concerns in South Africa. He is the big man he went around and talked to the owners of the coal mining companies and said “do you know what your doing here? Your destroying Africa!” He talked to Birgit Schwarz the 7th largest coal producer in Africa in a 1 on 1 conversation. Most mining in South Africa takes place in rural areas, where people live off the land and their livestock. Mining often forces people to leave the land they use for farming and grazing. Mining companies by law are required to make binding commitments for projects that will benefit a community that will be affected by mining.
