How the periodic table helps me understand the elements of overfishing!

By

Overfishing is the removal of a species of fish from a body of water at a rate that the species cannot replenish, resulting in those species becoming underpopulated in that area. Sustained overfishing can lead to critical depensation, where the fish population is no longer able to sustain itself.

The periodic table helps me understand the elements in their simplest form whether they are non metals, metals, gas or a solid their properties which will become important asa they are combined.

My environmental concern is overfishing and destructive fishing.

The elements I believe may be connected to overfishing are oxygen and hydrogen.

the reason I think these 2 have something to do with overfishing are:

Why Life Depends on Water | Biology for Non-Majors I

Hydrogen water is regular water with hydrogen gas added to the water. Hydrogen is part of water molecules. Hydrogen sulphide is a toxic gas which is harmful to aquatic life, specially when in the unionized form. It may occur naturally at levels which can be inimical to fish production and survival.

Do you think there's more to the hydrogen & oxygen elements that form water? Does water have a 'life' like animals or birds i.e. mating, fighting etc? - Quora

Oxogen is also found in water molecules! Water is needed for the fish to survive and breath.
