ByHumans have made pesticides decrease by more than 40% since 1992 but the emergence of more chemicals that are far more damaging to animals. Corn, soybeans, wheat and cotton use the most pesticides and receive 80% of the pesticide volume.
The higher the human population the smaller farm sizes, ecological degradation such as increasing emission, soil erosion, deforestation, and the overuse of natural resources. The population is exposed to pesticides mainly though eating food and drinking water that is contaminated with pesticides. Pesticide exposure can also occur when living or working close to a place that is or could be using pesticides. Some of the short-term effects of pesticides on humans are stinging eyes, rashes, blisters, blindness, nausea, dizziness and diarrhea. Pesticides drift with wind speed, temperature, relative humidity and atmospheric stability. Pesticides secrete into soil and groundwater which can end up in drinking water, and pesticide spray can drift and pollute the air. About 200,000 people die per year from toxic exposer to pesticides across the world.
